Fuller House at 35 East 1st Street, Hinsdale, Illinois.

This place is really well done in terms of interior design. Glorious salvaged elements and rod iron materials give the interior some edge and trendy attitude but keep you feeling welcomed. Food and drink were great and served up quick. We sat up top by he whiskey cases and loved the view of the hustle and bustle below.

My only qualm was the music selection and volume level—it was so pop and too high-energy, as if we were in a club. Totally did not jive with the restaurant’s ambiance. I suspect the angsty and dorky teens at the front host desk had something to do with it. I requested different tunes, which was considered but ultimately ignored. Meh, what can you do. Might be better next time.
